on Sunday 12th March, - (10am - 5pm) £20/£15concs

This is a 6-hour workshop facilitated by Michael,
open to all, exploring the harmonic series using the voice.

Study Basic Overtone Singing techniques, Voice positioning and Resonance.
Explore Traditional Mongolian Khöömii singing exercises.
Understand the harmonic/overtone series.
Play listening games to enhance you hearing.
Create a Harmonic Choir of voices.
Listen to your own overtones as you discover
the unknown depths and heights of your own
voice through the enchanting sounds of Khöömii.

Care and attention to warming up the body and voice
ensure a safe passage throughout each session.

Michael Ormiston has travelled to Mongolia many times to
learn the ancient art of Mongolian Khöömii (overtone) Singing
and is in the unique position of being the only European given
the blessing to teach the basics of Khöömii by Tserendavaa,
his teacher & Gereltsogt, a famous Khöömii singer from Mongolia.
