Travel
through Time with Malvern
Fringe Arts
Shake out your farthingales and polish your codpieces. Chase away winter’s
gloom and travel with us back to the Golden Age of 16th century England,
when knights were bold, damsels were fair, and codpieces were only battered
in battle!

On Sunday, January 28th 2007, Great Malvern re-visits the Golden
Age of Elizabethan England with an unforgettable evening of music and
spectacle with PANTAGRUEL - newly arrived from the royal courts
of Germania, with a display of courtly songs from the pens of our greatest
composers of the age...
... and our very own NONIMUS MINSTRELS who take us back to an
earlier golden age of travelling miscreants and dodgy potions with a
snatch of the earthiness of rural life in this green and pleasant land
of Albion. Further entertainment will be from Ray Mytton, Tim
Cranmore and sundrie other perpetrators of the Musical Artes.
Authentic Elizabethan comestibles courtesy of MISTRESS CAMILLA.
All entertainments to commence from 7.30pm. on Sunday 28th January
at The Grove, 8, Avenue Rd, Great Malvern, WR14 3AG.
