RUSSELL HOWARD
Russell got to Channel 4's So You Think Your Funny? competition final aged19, (only his 5th ever gig), He’s since been busy with his BBC6 Sunday Music show, loads of Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks on BBC2, Would I Lie To You? and Live At The Apollo on BBC1, Law of the Playground on Channel 4 and Tough Gig, The Brits and The British Comedy Awards on ITV..... phew.

But on stage is where Russell really storms it. A complete sell out at Edinburgh 2004-06, he sold out his 2007 run before the Festival had even started. His first nationwide solo tour of 'Wandering' (if.comedy & Barry Award nominated) was a complete sell out success.
His second solo tour 'Adventures' in Autumn 2007 was a sell out again, and due to demand, nineteen final extra dates were added to 'Adventures' for Spring 2008.

“more laughs here than many comedians manage in an entire career” - The Metro
“A superbly funny ride” - The Guardian

MATT WELCOME
Matt Welcome started life as a fertilised egg in his mother’s womb. He was born in a one way cul-de-sac a stone’s throw away from the wrong side of the tracks on the edge of the outskirts of a one horse town with no name.

More recently Matt took time off from comedy to ‘find himself’ and ‘catch up on his reminiscing’, “I thought I saw myself in Brent Cross shopping centre once but wasn’t sure so just kept walking, funny... after 3 years of searching for myself it turned out I’d been sitting in front of the telly drinking beer the whole time, I guess people are just like keys, always in the last place you look”

Suave and sarcastic, his ability to play with the simplest of phrases and have you thinking why you'd never thought of it, make him one of the UK's cleverest and slickest comedians.

"Brutally cool humour" - What's On Magazine

"Probably one of the most talented comedians on today's comedy circuit" - Woman Magazine

His material is seemingly conversational, but the gags are all tucked away in there, jumping out at you with a sure steady pace. Sharp sarcasm & acute observations shape the style of his set, but all manner of comedic verbal misdirection is present. Ira Rainey BBC Bristol

PAUL FOOT
A brief showbiz biography
I was born in Amersham in Buckinghamshire at a very early age. Initially, I was unable to fend for myself. I could not work out how to walk or even say words. Luckily, a kind lady and gentleman took me home from the hospital.
My mother taught me to speak nicely and talk about the weather. My dad mainly used to cook a pie. It wouldn’t always go right. Quite often he would drop the pie on the floor. “I’ve dropped the pie on the floor!” he would shout. That’s what he’s like, because he doesn’t use oven gloves.
Later, I went to university and studied mathematics, expecting a lifetime as an accountant. Whilst there, I decided to have a go at stand-up comedy in a little bar. I did not have any jokes. So I just made up stuff like, “Can anyone here name a fruit? A peach, madam? Personally, I prefer a pineapple.” Amazingly, it went well, due to comic timing, stage presence and luck and I resolved on the spot to become a professional entertainer.
After finishing my degree, I enrolled at the University of Life (Showbiz faculty) and gained a PhD in going round pubs, as a lowly open spot comic. Eleven years later, I became a success.
Nowadays, I perform my own style of stand-up comedy, which I term live musings, in theatres, comedy clubs and on people's television sets; as well as at Dr Dimaglio's cabaret nights, at which I am resident live muser.

Paul Foot's timing is spot on, his material imaginative, and he has
the audience with him all the way from start to finish.
- One 4 Review.Com

There is no logical reason why Paul Foot’s comedy should work, but work it does
– to hilarious effect. Never has so much been laughed at so little.
- Metro

He can find laughs in pretty much anything. He has a Midas touch with the mundane.
In his own bizarre mix of the effortless and the manic, he is unique and delightful.
- The Stage

Paul is one of those stand-ups who can take a half-spoken sentence from an audience
member and turn it into ten minutes of improvised comedy. This ensures that his show
isn’t just really funny – it’s marvellously unpredictable.
- Scotsgay

The missing link between Ross Noble and Frankie Howerd. - London Evening Standard

Choice silliness which no other comic could deliver anywhere near as effectively. - Time Out Magazine

He has an amazing ability to mine the least likely of subjects for laughs.
An absolute comic genius. He’s going to be a superstar.
- Attitude Magazine

Britain’s brightest new comic talent… clearly destined for greatness. - The Face

Rarely, if ever, has this reviewer seen an audience laugh as hysterically hard or long. - The Scotsman

Multiple daftness… delivered with inspiring pedantry and passion. Paul is a winner.- ParamountComedy.co.uk

Foot is Kenneth Williams on acid, a hilarious camp combination
of pedantry, bluff and surreal non sequiturs
.
