STREET CHILDREN OF MADURAI
12 - 26 April Malvern Library
An exhibition of drawings and paintings by Indian street artist SIVA, who lives and works among street children at the Nanban Centre in Madurai, Southern India. The work of Malvern schoolchildren and storytelling sessions also feature.

A variety performance of dance and music featuring acclaimed contemporary and classical Kathak dancer Sonia Sabri and the Sabri Ensemble, led by renowned tabla player and composer Sarvar Sabri. Kathak's lyrical gestures and intricate rhythms originated in the courts and temples of northern India. - Bar & food

A double bill - the first half featuring classical music by world famous sitar maestro Shalil Shankar accompanied by tabla player Pritam Singh. In the second half, Pritam leads his Indo-Jazz band of five.
